Tokenhold is a simple online battle mat for your tabletop sessions. No accounts, no setup and nothing to learn. Open it, shape the mat, drop in your tokens and play.

Everything a session needs, nothing it doesn't

Flexible mat

Rectangle, ellipse, hexagon or diamond, up to 60x60 cells. Pick a background and a grid colour.

Snap-to-grid tokens

Players and monsters snap to cells. Look up monsters from the SRD and open their stat block in a floating panel.

Draw on the map

Pen, line, box and circle in any colour. Move drawings around, or erase them.

Initiative tracker

Roll for everyone, step through turns and rounds. Players get a compact turn order of their own.

Hit points and conditions

Track HP and conditions such as Poisoned or Prone. The DM can show current HP beside each token.

For players too

A character card, a ruler that measures in feet and a dice roller from d4 to d100, with advantage and disadvantage.

How it works

  1. Open the app. Your mat is saved in your browser, so it is still there next time.
  2. Set up the mat. Choose a shape, a size and a background.
  3. Add tokens and play. Use View as to switch between the DM and each player.

Tokenhold is an early version. Everything runs in one browser for now, so there is no online multiplayer yet.
